Adam provides proactive advice and counsel to employers with respect to labor and employment law matters.  Adam helps employers solve the difficult problems that arise in today’s workplace, and he zealously represents employers facing lawsuits or other claims by employees or former employees.  Adam also asserts employers’ rights when they are facing government investigations or audits.

Employers facing discrimination and harassment claims, as well as other types of employment litigation, such as wage and hour claims and wrongful termination suits, have been successfully defended by Adam.  He regularly represents and counsels unionized employers in all aspects of labor relations including collective bargaining and labor arbitration, securing successful grievance arbitration decisions for clients and favorable outcomes in interest arbitration proceedings.  He also provides counsel to non-unionized employers looking to remain union-free.

Responsiveness is important to clients and Adam understands this, he is available when you need him.  Ultimately, his goal is to partner with clients to proactively address compliance issues to avoid potential legal claims. Policy development, training and proactive counseling help employers avoid potential workplace problems.

Adam frequently conducts training for clients and participates in several speaking engagements each year. Adam is also a regular contributor to the McNees labor and employment law blog.  Recently, Adam has focused on social media in the workplace and other emerging workplace trends.

As a member of the McNees Public Sector Group, Adam utilizes his labor law knowledge to aid municipalities in developing a global strategy for solving fiscal problems.
