McNees attorneys will present at the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) 2026 Annual Educational Conference, held April 19-22, 2026, at Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
PSATS is a nonprofit, nonpartisan member service organization that provides a unified voice for Pennsylvania townships. The annual conference brings together township officials, local government professionals, and industry leaders from across the Commonwealth for education, networking, and municipal-focused programming.
Session highlights include:
- “Keeping up with AI in the legal world; thoughts and tips to avoid becoming the next cautionary tale”: Austin Wolfe and Robert McAvoy will address legal and ethical considerations surrounding artificial intelligence.
- “Navigating cyber risks, trends & cyber-insurance strategies”: Christian Wolgemuth will discuss cyber risks facing municipalities, current threat trends, and cyber-insurance strategies to help local governments manage exposure.
- “Data centers? A mock conditional use hearing revived”: Esch McCombie, Jonathan Andrews, Erika Firestone, Christopher Knarr, Rachel Rowe, James Strong, David Evenhuis, Katherine Takhounts Bonato, Peter Wertz, and Steven Ahlbrandt will offer insight into land use and zoning issues tied to rapidly developing data center projects.
The firm is also an annual sponsor of the Township Solicitors Association, which provides opportunities to contribute to programming and newsletter content for township solicitors across Pennsylvania.
