Joe discovers facts to use as leverage against companies and individuals who hurt and cause the untimely death of people. He is kind and open with his clients and unrelenting toward anyone who tries to shield wrongdoers.
He has, and will, try cases before juries in Pennsylvania. But his first action is to stand between his client and the insurance company, which is pressuring them. He then uses his more than a decade of insurance-side experience, combined with his more than 15 years of injury lawyer experience, to help his clients make the best choices for them when negotiating and litigating. Above all, Joe’s goals are simple: serve God, be a great husband, be a great dad, and be the best trial lawyer he can be. He will help people who were seriously hurt:
Joe also works with the families of those who have been killed by negligence, wrongful death, and survival actions. Joe is adept at working with families of children/minors when injuries are inflicted on them by others. In front of a jury or in private with an insurance adjuster, Joe has an unusual skill in explaining what his clients endure and how the harm they are experiencing should be assessed in dollars.
At McNees, he sets aside time for those who are seriously injured. He is uniquely positioned to work with people who were hurt or their families when the case requires time-consuming, individualized attention. From 1996 to 2006, Joe was an insurance agent and owned an insurance agency. From 2007 to the present, Joe has represented injured clients against companies and individuals who harmed them, and fought insurance companies that sought to protect them.
Joe tried cases before Pennsylvania juries and won at the appellate level. He secured a verdict of over four million dollars and resolved million-dollar cases before trial.
Joe is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s House of Delegates and a member of the board of directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Central PA. He has been on the Power List for Personal Injury Lawyers in the Central Penn Business Journal and has been named to Best Lawyers. He has published several articles in the Pennsylvania Legal Intelligencer.
