Vance chairs the Estate Planning practice group and concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. He Vance is a trusted advisor to multiple generations of families and their businesses.
Vance represents business owners, executives, professionals, and retirees in all phases of estate and tax planning. His practice includes the preparation of Wills, various types of trusts (such as defective grantor trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, and dynasty trusts), charitable planning, family limited partnerships, insurance planning, and asset protection planning. In addition, Vance frequently provides advice on buy-sell agreements and the structuring of business transactions such as asset sales, stock sales, and mergers.
Vance is a frequent speaker and author on estate planning and related topics. He is active in the Lancaster community. He has served on various charitable boards and committees, and he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the UPMC Pinnacle Health Foundation.
