Bill practices in the Firm’s Labor & Employment Group. He is an experienced litigation attorney. Bill represents employers before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. He defends employers against claims of discrimination and violations of wage and hour laws and the FMLA. He also counsels employers on day-to-day employment matters, policies and procedures, and handbooks. Bill’s practice also includes traditional labor matters. He represents employers before the National Labor Relations Board and assists them during union organizing campaigns. Bill also advises employers on non-compete agreements and other post-employment restrictive covenants and, as a member of the Firm’s Injunction Group, handles matters to enforce non-competes and restrictive covenants.
In addition to labor and employment, Bill’s experience includes general commercial litigation in which he represented companies and individuals in federal and state courts.
Before entering the private practice of law, Bill was a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas I. Vanaskie of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Through this experience, he gained valuable insight into the practice and procedure of federal courts, including employment discrimination and wage and hour law litigation.
