Nate Regotti

Nate Regotti is a lobbyist and government affairs specialist with the McNees Strategic Solutions Group (MSSG) serving public and private sector clients as well as nonprofit organizations across the western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and eastern Ohio regions.

With more than 10 years of experience in government service, relationship building and strategic communications, Nate develops government relations strategies for clients and messages their needs and views to elected officials and key stakeholders. He leverages his knowledge to help clients navigate the complexities of politics and government at the local, county and state levels. Nate is active in the business community, regularly attending events hosted by chambers of commerce, civic groups and government entities to increase clients’ visibility and foster connections.

Most recently, Nate was Senior Manager of Government and External Affairs for Comcast’s keystone region. In this role, he developed strategic plans to advocate the company’s positions on public policies as well as those of its subsidiaries. He also helped form partnerships with nonprofit organizations to establish community improvement programs.

As former Chief-of-Staff to Pennsylvania State Rep. Pam Snyder, Nate built professional connections with statewide elected officials, the state legislature, county commissioners, township supervisors, borough leaders and their staffs. He regularly engaged community organizations and businesses to establish effective strategic partnerships and solve complex matters. Nate analyzed proposed legislation and potential regulatory activity to determine their impact on local industries with Rep. Snyder’s standing committees. He also collaborated with stakeholders to ensure legislative initiatives created positive change in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Nate’s duties additionally included serving as spokesperson to the press and preparing statements to the news media; planning successful legislative events, including public hearings; and managing Rep. Snyder’s social media platforms. He also previously served as Southwest Delegation Director for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where he made voting and co-sponsorship recommendations to support change in the community and its industries and wrote effective legislative summaries for review by elected members.

Nate began his career as a news and sports anchor and reporter with WJPA Radio, which reached Washington County, Pa., listeners. His passion for strategic communications and government affairs stems from the working relationships he built with locally elected officials and community organizers to effectively tell their stories.
