Joe is an experienced practitioner in our Labor and Employment practice group. He has exclusively represented both private and public employers in labor and employment matters since his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1993.
Joe regularly counsels and provides day-to-day advice and training to employers in all industries with respect to employment-related issues, including wage and hour compliance, work performance management, discipline, equal opportunity and fair employment practices, hiring practices and termination decisions, litigation avoidance, employee leave issues, retaliation, non-compete and separation agreements, unemployment compensation, and also in connection with collective bargaining administration and arbitration matters. He also frequently represents employers in connection with OSHA and Wage and Hour matters.
In addition, Joe regularly defends employers in discrimination cases and other employment-related litigation, in federal and state court as well as in administrative proceedings before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state employment practice agencies.
Joe encourages and helps employers to maintain a proactive and preventative approach to employment law compliance to reduce potential liabilities and avoid costly employment-related claims and litigation.
