Ivy Buchan is the President of Helix Strategies, LLC. She works with nonprofits, community based organizations, and social enterprises to raise funds and develop their leaders and programs. Helix services focus on fundraising/development strategies, board development/engagement strategies, strategic visioning/planning, and program evaluation/outcome measurement. Ivy empowers volunteers and staff to lead their organizations to sustainable success so they will have a deeper impact in the community.
Over the last 16 years, Ivy led campaigns, board development, donor and volunteer stewardship, and evaluation efforts for several community based organizations in Central Pennsylvania. Her grant writing and fundraising labors alone secured millions of dollars for these organizations.
Ivy co-founded the West Shore Young Professionals in 2014. She serves on the West Shore Chamber of Commerce Board, West Shore Young Professional Advisory Board, York College Alumni Board, and is an Ambassador for the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Ivy has also edited three nonprofit textbooks.
