Profile

Emily joined the Intellectual Property Practice Group in 2016 after graduating from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. Her practice includes domestic and international trademark and copyright counseling and litigation. Emily reviews, drafts, and negotiates franchise, licensing, and technology agreements. She also counsels clients on a wide variety of advertising and marketing issues. In May of 2017, Emily helped secure injunctive relief and the cancellation of a federal trademark registration, the outcome of a favorable settlement for her client alleging trademark infringement in a federal court action.

During law school, Emily represented clients before federal courts of appeals in civil rights and immigration cases as a member of the Appellate Litigation Clinic. Emily also worked as a Legal Services Coordinator with the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and volunteered with The Pennsylvania Innocence Project.
