Connor assists developers and residential builders in real estate and planned community matters, focusing on creating legally defensible governing documents that are practical for long-term community administration.

His work includes governing document preparation and amendment, statutory compliance under the Uniform Condominium Act (UCA), Uniform Planned Community Act (UPCA), Nonprofit Corporation Law (NPCL), and Fair Housing Act (FHA), and transition from declarant control. Connor also assists developers and residential builders with both routine and complex projects, including age-restricted communities, traditional neighborhood developments, master association developments, and multifaceted projects featuring multifamily housing, single-family homes, and commercial or industrial uses, as well as general transactional real estate matters, including agreements of sale, leases, easements, and deeds, among other items.

Before joining McNees, Connor was an associate at a Philadelphia-area law firm, where he advised community associations on governing documents, compliance, corporate governance, rule enforcement, and related matters.

Connor is active in the Community Associations Institute – Keystone Chapter and writes and speaks on community association issues.

EXPERIENCE/REPRESENTATIVE CASES

Condominium association: Successfully opposed a foreign LLC’s attempt to secure a special exception for student housing in a condominium in West Goshen Township.

Planned community: Secured a dismissal with prejudice and entry of Judgment of non pros on behalf of a planned community in a directors’ & officers’ liability matter in Monroe County.
