Profile

Charlie is a commercial real estate attorney in Harrisburg, PA and leads the Real Estate Group’s land use division. He counsels national, regional and local businesses on a variety of zoning, land development, planning, transportation and other land use matters. Much of his work as a commercial real estate attorney is performed on behalf of developers of commercial and industrial projects, including regional and community shopping centers, office complexes, and warehouses and distribution centers. Charlie’s practice also involves pursuing zoning and land development approvals for all types of residential communities, including conventional subdivisions, cluster developments, traditional neighborhood developments (TNDs) and retirement communities.

As a real estate attorney, Charlie regularly appears before municipal boards and commissions throughout central, eastern and southeastern Pennsylvania and has served as solicitor to zoning hearing boards and municipalities.

As a certified instructor for the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Education Institute, Charlie provides training to planning commissions, zoning officers and other municipal officials on a variety of planning and zoning matters. He is a regular speaker and presenter on land use and planning issues at the Pennsylvania Planning Association’s annual conference.
