Bryce practices in the Energy and Environmental Law Group. Bryce primarily represent clients before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Bryce has a broad network of relationships in the energy and utilities industries at both the state and federal levels.

Bryce’s approach to the practice of law is assertive and practical. He is an outspoken and forthright advocate that speaks up for his clients but is practical about the costs and effects of litigation to his clients. Bryce has worked with corporations, utilities, consumer advocates, and elected officials to achieve competitive market-based solutions at the state and federal levels.

What does Bryce do for Clients?
Bryce often represents companies and energy-intensive consumers in matters before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). In FERC matters, Bryce advocates for competitive outcomes in RTO/ISO markets, with a focus on matters impacting utilities and consumers in the PJM and MISO regions.

Bryce has also presided over or participated in numerous proceedings before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. As an Administrative Law Judge, Bryce presided over cases for the Commission regarding the Commission’s regulation of electric and natural gas utilities. Bryce has also advocated on behalf of residential, commercial, and industrial consumers in matters involving base distribution rates, standard service offer rates, riders, administrative rules, and other issues. Bryce is an active and outspoken advocate that always puts clients first.

How does Bryce spend his free time?
Bryce enjoys spending time with his wife, three kids, and chocolate lab. He is an active member of the Columbus and Bexley communities. Bryce enjoys playing golf, basketball, softball, crossfit, hunting, fishing, snow-skiing, and water-skiing. Further, Bryce hopes to someday compete in a sprint triathlon.
