Overview
Kimberly represents universities, colleges, school districts, charter schools, and educators on a variety of education law matters. She advises on policies and regulations with a special focus on Title IX and risk management.
She advises clients on student and faculty rights, policy development, contract management, and compliance with federal and state education laws. Her work includes matters involving Title IX, Title IV, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Campus Security Act, the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Kimberly represents educational institutions in due process hearings, government investigations, and state and federal court proceedings, including the defense of Title IX and civil rights claims. She also provides training to boards, administrators, faculty, employees, and students on legal compliance obligations.
Her litigation practice also includes business disputes involving contracts, warranties, real estate, and statutory obligations, as well as fiduciary matters involving estate executors, trustees, and beneficiaries. Kimberly represents clients in trial and appellate courts, arbitrations, and before administrative agencies.
Kimberly draws on more than 25 years of education and litigation experience to help clients assess risk, address disputes, and make informed decisions.

- Estate executor: Defended client against claims in multimillion-dollar estate litigation.
- Public records matter: Obtained injunctive relief for violations of the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law.
- Business client: Obtained compensatory and punitive damages in an unfair trade practices dispute.
- Corporate trustee: Defended client against a claim seeking invasion of principal held in trusts for a disabled minor.
