Overview
Mark's practice focuses on regulatory and compliance matters. He routinely works with vehicle dealers, transportation-related businesses, liquor licensees, and individuals and companies with professional licenses. He advises clients across the automotive dealership, transportation, and regulatory compliance areas.
Mark’s automotive dealership practice focuses on defending dealers against consumer protection claims, litigating franchise disputes, and representing dealers in regulatory enforcement matters involving the Department of State, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Revenue, the Attorney General’s Office, and the Pennsylvania State Police. He advises dealership clients on day-to-day operational issues, including documentary compliance, agreement review, and business planning.
Mark represents and counsels clients in general transportation matters, including PennDOT inspection and emissions suspension appeals, administrative hearings before the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, title and vehicle registration issues, and provides day-to-day operating advice to transportation companies.
Mark also counsels clients on liquor license matters, including navigating state and federal licensing requirements, license renewals and transfers, advising on PLCB compliance issues, and providing day-to-day guidance on liquor license compliance.
He regularly represents clients in professional and dealer licensing matters, including securing and maintaining licenses, defending against enforcement actions by the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs, and advising on regulatory compliance. Mark also litigates in state and federal courts on behalf of dealership, transportation, and financial institution clients, including drafting preliminary objections, managing appellate proceedings before the Commonwealth Court, and negotiating settlements.
