Overview

Joseph S. Welty is a member of the McNees Real Estate and Construction Law Groups. Joe has been a leader in the legal field and the Frederick community for nearly 50 years. He counsels clients in a range of legal matters, including real estate transactions, leases, contract negotiation and preparation and a variety of general corporate and commercial matters.

He also has experience in helping clients establish various business entities, including corporations, limited liability companies, joint ventures, and general and limited partnerships; as well as business and estate planning and routine tax planning.

An active member of the community, Joe serves on the board of directors for Ausherman Family Foundation, Ausherman Family Trust and Family Heritage Trust Company. He also previously served as a member of the board of trustees for The Merle Thorpe, Jr. Charitable Trust.
