LANCASTER, Pa. (January 30, 2026) Ashley Nichols Weber and Claudia Shank have been appointed as co-managing members-in-charge of McNees’ Lancaster office. The two will replace Donna Kreiser, who previously managed the Lancaster office, as she begins her retirement.
Ashley and Claudia will partner with the firm’s executive committee to support the Lancaster office’s continued growth. As the Lancaster region experiences a rising population and a diversifying economy across many sectors, they will also lead efforts to strengthen team cohesion and inter‑office collaboration across the firm.
“Lancaster is a dynamic market, and Ashley and Claudia’s leadership will ensure we continue to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients,” said McNees Chair Brian Jackson. “Their collaborative approach and proven track records make them ideal to guide the office into its next chapter.”
Ashley, a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Construction Law Groups, leverages her deep knowledge of the construction industry to assist contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners with contract drafting and review, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution. She is committed to helping clients achieve successful project outcomes through proactive legal guidance.
Claudia, a member of the firm’s Real Estate & Construction and Public Finance & Government Services Groups, represents individuals and developers in land use and permitting matters, including zoning relief and approvals. She is experienced in litigating land use appeals and real estate disputes, and frequently handles transactional work, including negotiating commercial property agreements.
“When I think about the Lancaster office, I truly feel, as cliché as it sounds, is that we’re very much like a family and just having that camaraderie and that connection just makes the practice of law so much better and so much easier,” said Ashley.
“We’re committed to our clients, we’re committed to one another, we’re committed to the community, and we look forward to continuing to grow and thrive as part of Lancaster,” said Claudia.
McNees opened its Lancaster office in 2004 to better serve clients throughout South Central Pennsylvania. Today, the office provides a full range of legal services, including corporate law, real estate, litigation, estate planning, and more.
