Claudia Shank is an Associate in the Lancaster office where she practices in the Real Estate group. Claudia focuses on representing individuals and developers before municipal entities in land use and permitting matters. Claudia also assists her clients in obtaining zoning relief, including variance, special exception and conditional use approvals. Experienced in the courtroom, Claudia is comfortable litigating land use appeals and other real estate disputes. In addition, Claudia frequently assists clients in transactional matters, such as negotiating agreements for the purchase, sale or lease of commercial property.
Prior to joining the firm, Claudia served as an Assistant Solicitor for Lancaster County where she provided advice to the Board of Commissioners and County department heads and elected officials. She continues to use this experience to advise counties on a broad range of legal issues, including compliance with the County Code, the Sunshine Act and the Right to Know Law. Before working in the County Solicitor’s office, Claudia served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jeffery D. Wright in the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas and assisted in the development of the County’s Veterans Treatment Court.
Claudia earned her law degree from Drexel University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
