Lois represents companies of all sizes and individuals in intellectual property and commercial contract matters. She advises clients across various industries, with particular focus on the food sector, helping them develop cost-effective strategies to protect and grow their businesses.
She handles trademark selection, registration, protection, and licensing, both domestically and internationally. She also advises on copyrights, trade secrets, advertising, promotions, and a wide variety of intellectual property agreements. Lois negotiates commercial contracts across development, manufacturing, sourcing, advertising, and software-as-a-service. When enforcement is necessary, she represents clients in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Prior to joining the firm, Lois practiced intellectual property and commercial litigation and then practiced in-house for many years. This experience informs her business-minded approach to legal challenges and her ability to offer practical solutions, intellectual property strategies, and commercial contract advice tailored to each client’s operational needs.
