Errin represents organizations, property developers, and businesses in environmental and occupational safety and health regulatory compliance. He advises clients on state and federal environmental regulations and handles permitting, audits, dispute resolution, and environmental litigation.
He helps clients navigate environmental laws, develop compliance strategies, assist with permitting, conduct audits and investigations, and represent clients in enforcement actions and litigation. Errin also assists real estate developers and construction contractors with environmental permitting and regulatory requirements throughout the various stages of development projects. He supports the environmental legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions, assisting buyers and sellers with environmental due diligence, risk assessments, negotiation of environmental provisions in deal terms, and post-closing considerations.
Errin regularly advises clients on compliance with federal and state regulatory and permitting programs administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), as well as Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) clearances, Pennsylvania Natural Diversity Inventory (PNDI) clearances, construction stormwater permitting, sewage facilities planning, and environmental covenants.
Errin is regularly invited to speak and write on environmental law topics. He has contributed to the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Pennsylvania Environmental Law and Practice e-book and presented at the Environmental Law Forum on water law impacts on potential site development.
