Overview

Erica regularly represents automotive dealerships in complex buy-sell transactions, guiding clients through all stages of the acquisition and disposition process. Her experience includes negotiating purchase agreements and related transaction documents, advising clients on financing, manufacturer, and franchise matters, and addressing other issues arising in connection with dealership acquisitions and sales.

Erica also has extensive experience in public finance, where she represents school districts, municipalities, municipal authorities, and other governmental and nonprofit entities in tax-exempt and taxable financing transactions. She serves as bond counsel and borrower’s counsel in connection with a variety of financing structures, including bond issues, notes, bank loans, and other borrowing arrangements.

In her commercial lending practice, Erica represents both borrowers and financial institutions in financing and refinancing transactions. Her experience includes construction loans, revolving lines of credit, acquisition financing, and syndicated and other commercial loan facilities, ranging from small-business financings to large, multimillion-dollar transactions.

Before joining the firm, Erica served as policy director for the Pennsylvania Department of Education, where she researched and implemented policies affecting the Commonwealth’s education system. In addition to her legal practice, Erica serves on the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers.
