Ashley represents contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners in the construction industry, advising on contract matters, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
She drafts, reviews, and revises construction contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and related documents, and counsels clients on bond, claim, lien, and prompt payment issues. Ashley also handles litigation arising out of construction disputes.
Before rejoining McNees, Ashley served as corporate counsel for a Lancaster-based family of food-service equipment and supply companies. She negotiated commercial, distribution, supply, and lease agreements and worked with the company’s specialty construction businesses on claims, warranty, and project matters. Her prior construction and insurance practice also informs her work with clients on contract and dispute issues.
Ashley is a co-member-in-charge of McNees’ Lancaster office. She speaks and writes on construction-related issues and participated in the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law Trial Academy.
