Pennsylvania Bar Institute 2026 Nonprofit Law Essentials CLE

Published 05/12/2026

Attorney Frannie Reilly presented “Fostering a Culture of Compliance” at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI)’s 2026 Nonprofit Law Essentials CLE on May 12, 2026.

The program covered common and costly mistakes that can occur when serving Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations. Frannie’s session offered attendees a roadmap for staying on top of essential compliance obligations and cultivating strong stewardship, particularly when daily headlines and new challenges make it easy to lose focus on foundational governance matters.

As chair of McNees’ Charitable and Nonprofit Group, Frannie works closely with nonprofit organizations to strengthen their operations and advance their missions. She serves as outside general counsel to numerous nonprofits, including colleges, universities, charter schools, and foundations, advising on fiduciary duties, contracts, compliance, fiscal sponsorships, and corporate governance.
