Overview

Jill represents individuals, families, and business owners in family law matters. She advises clients in divorce, asset division, custody, support, and prenuptial agreements, with an approach centered on advocacy and empathy.

Jill regularly drafts and negotiates marital settlement agreements tailored to the unique needs of business owners and individuals experiencing divorce. She educates her clients on their rights related to child custody, focusing on the children’s best interests, and on support and alimony. She also represents clients in proceedings under the Pennsylvania Protection from Abuse Act and has served as a mediator in such cases. Jill is experienced in Orphans’ Court matters, including step-parent adoptions and terminations of parental rights.

Before joining the firm, Jill practiced family law with a Lancaster-based firm, where she gained experience advocating for families and children in matters involving equitable distribution of marital assets, negotiations over legal and physical custody, and spousal and child support.

Jill serves as the immediate past president of the Lancaster Bar Association. She was recently elected to serve on the council of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section, a leadership body that oversees the section’s programs and supports legislative efforts impacting family law. She also works with the Volunteer Attorney Program to provide pro bono legal representation to underserved populations. Jill is a mentor pod leader in the firm’s mentorship program for attorneys beginning their careers.
