Frank Lavery is an Associate in the McNees Corporate & Tax Practice Group, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.

What is Frank’s Approach to the Practice of Law?
Frank brings an ambitious, motivated approach to the table mixed with a keen business sense. His goal is always to efficiently meet his clients’ needs and he believes that the best results are achieved when ardent representation meets a spirit of cooperation.

What does Frank do for Clients?
Frank assists throughout the transactional process to keep clients informed and on the right track toward accomplishing their goals. The process of completing a merger, acquisition, or reorganization can be a long one and companies may struggle to keep up with the many steps involved as they try to remain competitive in their fields.

Primarily, Frank provides the following services to his clients:

  • Performing due diligence requests and reviews
  • Drafting commercial agreements pertinent to the normal operations of a business
  • Drafting disclosure schedules to purchase agreements
  • Compiling detailed closing checklists including action items and responsible parties to ensure the client’s vision for a deal is realized

Frank has hands-on experience working directly with clients from his time serving in Notre Dame’s Intellectual Property & Entrepreneurship Clinic. He routinely drafts governing documents, such as operating agreements, bylaws, and formation filings.  Frank can help with entities’ routine housekeeping from meeting minutes to resolutions.

How does Frank spend his free time?
When he is not practicing law, Frank enjoys spending his time outdoors. He prefers scuba diving and skiing, weather permitting, but will usually settle for anything that doesn’t require him to stay still. When he is staying put, Frank can often be found watching college football and cheering on the Fighting Irish. He has also never been one to turn off a Phillies, Eagles, or 76ers game.
