Director of Data Governance
Amy leads data governance at the firm, working across departments to ensure firm data is trusted, protected, and used strategically.
She focuses on improving data quality, strengthening security and compliance, and designing systems and processes that support future analytics and AI initiatives. She supports attorneys and business professionals with data governance, ethical screens, client and matter data integrity, confidentiality, compliance, risk management, and governance considerations for analytics and AI.
Amy partners with teams across the firm to solve complex data challenges, streamline workflows, and help colleagues feel confident in the information they use to make decisions. Drawing on her background in conflicts of interest data and ethical screen management, she brings a risk-aware perspective to data governance, ensuring sensitive information is handled appropriately and in compliance with professional and regulatory obligations.
Before her current role, Amy served as a research librarian and then a member of the conflicts team at McNees, bringing over a decade of experience across research, risk, and information management. Before joining the firm, she worked in archives and records management at Ancestry.com, the National Archives, and the Pennsylvania State Archives. That background shapes her approach to data stewardship, accountability, and responsible access.
