He advises and offers counsel to those seeking zoning, subdivision, land development, and stormwater management approvals, related state permits, and on related real estate matters in primary roles and as local counsel. He also conducts zoning due diligence in support of development and corporate transactions nationwide.
His default is relationship building. He excels at establishing relationships between clients and municipalities of all sizes to achieve favorable and timely outcomes. Still, appreciates that in today’s world, litigation may be the only viable option. When the situation requires, he excels at utilizing the court system for favorable outcomes.
Esch serves as co-chair of the firm’s real estate group and is a member of the firm’s Mentor Committee, Professional Personnel Committee, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee. He also frequently presents to counties, associations, and the like on land use matters.
