David is a member of the McNees Real Estate and Public Finance & Government Services Groups. He represents businesses and municipalities in commercial real estate transactions, focusing on acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, property transfers within corporate mergers, and monetizing public assets, such as water and sewer systems. He is also known for advising clients on issues of realty transfer tax, railroad law, manufactured housing communities, and real estate broker licensing.
A seasoned author and speaker, David enjoys creative pursuits and contributing to the culture and development of the legal community. His pro bono work has supported the creation and installation of public art in Harrisburg, including the establishment and protection of easement rights for mural artists throughout the city. Prior to his legal career, David taught philosophy at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, where his research focused on aesthetics and the philosophy of art. He also served as a financial advisor in several large investment firms in New York City. David is a native of Detroit and now lives with his wife and two wonderful children in Harrisburg.
