Meaghan is a member of the Corporate & Tax practice group at McNees Wallace & Nurick. Her practice focuses on business transactions, where she represents businesses of all sizes and development stages, as well as business owners, investors and other stakeholders, in a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt and equity financings, commercial contracts and other commercial transactions.
She works with health care companies, life sciences companies, financial institutions, real estate developers, foreign and domestic manufacturers and distributors, service providers, technology providers, private equity funds, venture capital funds, angel groups and entrepreneurs operating in a variety of sectors. Meaghan provides strategic legal advice to clients on a wide variety of legal issues with a view toward their specific business objectives. She prioritizes client goals and always looks for innovative and creative ways for achieving them.
Before shifting her focus to business transactions, Meaghan represented financial institutions, businesses and insurers in significant commercial and tort litigation involving contract and securities law, and she uses that experience to help clients avoid, mitigate and settle disputes before they devolve into litigation.
