Hanley Higgins is a corporate attorney who assists clients with business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and advises on matters such as entity formation, governance, and contracts. She works with businesses across industries on issues related to corporate structure, compliance, and ongoing operations.
Before joining McNees, Hanley gained experience as a legal intern with the Massachusetts Securities Division, where she researched fraud and regulatory compliance in the financial sector. She also served as a law clerk at BNY, reviewing proposals to the company’s proxy voting committee for government, environmental, and social compliance.
She earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in global studies from Drexel University.
