Alicia is an experienced litigator who represents public and private clients in complex litigation matters. She provides guidance and advice to school districts, municipalities, and businesses on diverse topics, including risk management and avoidance, contract review, civil liability analysis, and compliance with state and federal law.
Much of Alicia’s practice centers on education law and representing school districts regarding a variety of legal issues, such as contract negotiations, student discipline, truancy proceedings, tax assessment appeals, and compliance with the Sunshine Act and Right-to-Know Law. Alicia has substantial experience in all phases of civil litigation, from initial pleadings through appellate filings, as well as experience with administrative proceedings and alternative dispute resolution.
Prior to joining the firm, Alicia practiced at several law firms in and around Philadelphia. She also worked in the insurance industry prior to law school, where she managed complex liability claims and gained insight into insurance coverage and risk assessment.
