Experienced Central Pa. trial attorney joins McNees

HARRISBURG, Pa. — (Feb. 2, 2023) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC today announced the addition of an experienced trial attorney to its Harrisburg team.
Edwin A.D. Schwartz has joined McNees’ Litigation Group, bringing nearly 30 years of experience as a trial attorney. Based in the Harrisburg area, Schwartz has represented clients in dozens of trials and mediations over the years – including state and federal cases, as well as national class action lawsuits.
“Ed brings a wealth of experience to McNees as a seasoned litigator, and we are thrilled to have him on our team,” said Kandice K. Hull, McNees Litigation Group chair. “Our clients will be well-served by his legal knowledge and trial acumen.”
Schwartz routinely handles complex legal and compliance matters in a variety of fields including health care, finance, professional liability and licensure, IRS and related tax issues. He also has years of experience in litigating matters before various licensure boards in Pennsylvania, including the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Disciplinary Board, among others.

A former member of the U.S. Army Reserve, Schwartz received an honorable discharge after serving as a commissioned officer and trial counsel in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He is active in the Greater Harrisburg community, supporting the Penn State Four Diamonds campaign, United Way of the Capital Region and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Schwartz earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University.
He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1995, his first among several bar admissions, including District of Columbia; North Carolina; U.S. District Courts in the Middle, Eastern and Western districts of Pennsylvania; the U.S. Court of Appeals in the 3rd Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
