Three McNees Attorneys to present PSATS Webinar

Harrisburg, Pa. – (April 16, 2018) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC Attorneys Kathleen Bruder, Ken Stark and David Evenhuis will be presenting a webinar titled “Stay on the Right Track: Legal, Regulatory, and Government Relations Strategies for Dealing with Railroads in PA” for the Pennsylvania State Associations of Township Supervisors (PSATS) on Wednesday April 18, from 12 to 1 p.m.

Kathleen is a member of the Government Relations, Energy & Environmental, Public Sector, Oil & Natural Gas, Pipeline and Oil/Gas Infrastructure, and State & Local Tax Groups where she uses her extensive knowledge of government operations, regulatory and administrative issues, as well as her prior experience as a litigator to help clients of McNees succeed with challenges and opportunities that involve state, federal and local agencies or legislative issues, as well as represent clients faced with corporate governance and right to know issues.

She has over 20 years of experience representing clients in public and private sectors. Kathleen’s background and interest in helping clients allows her to work with McNees clients to achieve success and do so efficiently. Her knowledge of the three branches of government and her network within the branches are critical to McNees clients navigating state government to further their business goals.

Ken is an Associate in McNees Wallace & Nurick’s Energy and Environmental Law practice group. Ken’s practice focuses on representation of consumer-oriented interests in state and federal regulatory proceedings, and appellate court proceedings, involving electricity, natural gas, and oil pipeline issues. Ken regularly represents and advises clients on various transmission issues under the jurisdiction of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Ken also represents and advises clients regarding alternative/renewable energy and transportation issues under the jurisdiction of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.

David is an attorney in the McNees Real Estate and Public Sector Practice Groups. His areas of focus include commercial real estate development, purchases and sales, leasing transactions and coordinating real estate transfers within corporate mergers and acquisitions. David represents businesses, municipalities and individual clients throughout the entire process of commercial transactions, including negotiation, contract drafting, due diligence and closing. He is also known for advising clients about realty transfer tax, right of way easements, manufactured housing communities and real estate brokerage law. David is a frequent author and lecturer on real estate title and transactional issues.
