Brian Jackson appears on PNC C-Speak podcast
Lessons on leadership, decision-making, and creating a workplace where different perspectives are heard.
McNees Chair Brian Jackson recently appeared on the PNC C-Speak: The Language of Executives podcast to discuss his approach to leadership, decision-making, and building a collaborative, multigenerational workplace.
During the conversation, Brian discussed the importance of considering diverse perspectives, building consensus, and creating opportunities for people at all career stages to contribute. Drawing on his experience coaching youth basketball, he shared how communication and team input can inform better decisions, whether on the court or in the workplace.
Brian also explored the value of reverse mentoring, particularly as technologies such as artificial intelligence continue to change the legal profession. He discussed how pairing the perspectives and technical skills of newer professionals with the experience of longtime practitioners can create opportunities for both to learn from one another.
PNC C-Speak: The Language of Executives is a podcast series co-created by PNC and WITF featuring candid conversations with local C-level executives about leadership, business, and life. The knowledge-sharing series explores timely business topics and forward-thinking approaches that encourage business leaders to think differently.
