(July 20, 2023) Two McNees Wallace & Nurick attorneys have accepted community leadership positions.

Anne Zerbe, an employment attorney, joined the York College of Pennsylvania’s Board of Trustees. Public finance attorney Frannie Reilly joined the Villanova Law Women’s Network Outreach Committee, a group of volunteers from across class years who encourage the professional and personal development of Villanova Law alumnae who identify as women.

Both Zerbe and Reilly are also the co-chairs of McNees’ Public Finance & Government Services Group, a team of attorneys and specialists recently ranked third in Pennsylvania for bond counsel work by a national industry trade publication.

At McNees, Zerbe is a member of the Labor and Employment and Equine Law teams. A trusted resource in her community for legal information, she has been a featured speaker for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, the Pennsylvania State Counsel of SHRM, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Employee Relations Council, the York Society of Human Resource Managers, the Physicians’ Office Management Association of York and Quest Behavioral Health EAP.

Zerbe has also served in executive roles for years on the Board of Directors for the York County Bar Association, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Pennsylvania and the Children’s Home of York. She also volunteers as a member of the Endowment Committee for Advent Lutheran Church. Zerbe has served as the co-chair of the Justice, Equity and Inclusion Committee of the York County Bar Association since 2021 to advance justice, equity and inclusion in the York legal community and justice system.

Reilly leads McNees’ Charitable & Non-Profit and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Groups. She is passionate about sharing legal education – she is an adjunct professor for La Salle University’s Masters of Science in the Nonprofit Leadership Program, where she teaches the Law and Ethics course and Capstone course, and volunteers with Philadelphia VIP training and supporting attorneys who provide pro bono legal representation to low-income individuals, families, businesses and nonprofits.

An active member of McNees’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, Reilly also serves as the firm’s Supplier Diversity Council Member for the Women’s Business Enterprise Center (WBEC) – East, an advocacy group for women business owners and entrepreneurs in the Pennsylvania, Delaware and southern New Jersey regions.
