McNees Privacy & Data Security Attorney to Participate in Panel Discussion Regarding Telework

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (August 5, 2020) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Devin Chwastyk is slated to take part in a panel discussion focusing on the cybersecurity risks associated with telework, which has been greatly utilized during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The virtual event taking place on the morning of August 12, 2020 will be hosted by the Alera Group as part of the Group’s series titled “Breakfast & Buzz”.

Devin, along with Garth Pricer of Members 1st FCU, Brandon Keath of Appalachia Technologies and Eric Cernak of The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc., will outline the risks and provide mitigation efforts that can be implemented to ensure protection as we continue to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Devin Chwastyk is Chair of the McNees Privacy & Data Security Practice Group, where he advises clients on how to get ahead of data exposure by developing data security policies, privacy disclosures, breach response plans, and associated training programs.  Devin helps clients remedy and report security breach events.  He holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional (U.S.) designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
