Jack Byrnes practices in the McNees Corporate & Tax, Mergers and Acquisitions, Gaming & Sports Wagering, and Food & Beverage Law Practice Groups.
What does Jack do for clients?
Principally, Jack counsels clients on a wide array of corporate matters, from the formation of an entity and its internal governing documents, to the drafting of general contracts utilized by businesses on a day-to-day basis and throughout the business lifecycle. In addition, Jack has experience in the sale and acquisition of businesses, and has aided in all phases of a business transaction: from compiling a detailed letter of intent, to conducting due diligence reviews, all the way through to the drafting of finalized disclosure schedules and purchase agreements. Moreover, Jack seeks to oversee the overall maintenance of a transaction by drafting detailed closing checklists and monitoring the momentum of a transaction to ensure a smooth deal process.

Jack graduated from Penn State Law with a concentration in corporate practice. In addition, Jack has always had a passion for writing: he served as the Managing Editor of Student Works for the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs during law school, and he has authored several articles during his time with McNees. Throughout law school, Jack worked part-time as a legal assistant for a multinational IT corporation and was a summer associate at McNees.
Outside of his practice, Jack enjoys staying active no matter the time of year. In the summer months, he enjoys spending his time outdoors near any body of water or on the golf course. In the winter months he is an avid skier.
