HARRISBURG, Pa. — (June 27, 2022) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC is pleased to announce that litigator Kandice K. Hull was named one of Pennsylvania’s most prominent attorneys by the commonwealth’s premier multi-media government, politics and advocacy news organization.

City & State Pennsylvania’s first-ever Law Power 100 List features legal professionals who are not simply influential in their field, but powerful in Pennsylvania’s government landscape. It includes top-ranking partners in the commonwealth’s leading law firms, law schools, the judiciary, government and various advocacy groups.

Hull, who over the course of her 21-year career at McNees has earned the respect of her colleagues and peers, is chair of McNees’ Litigation and Appellate Law Groups and leader of its Eminent Domain Law Practice.

McNees’ litigators have the knowledge, skills and experience to navigate local, state and federal court systems and handle cases from start to finish. Attorneys offer sound advice to resolve disputes, either through mediation or arbitration or through formal court proceedings. And if the issue proceeds to a higher court, Hull’s team has developed a substantial practice handling unique appeals, including issues at the intersection of law and government, regulatory matters and others of significance that impact industries. The team includes former Commonwealth Court Judge Drew Crompton, who wrote more than 150 opinions on administrative and civil public law cases.

In her own practice, Hull leverages in-depth experience in real property litigation to focus on representing clients who are in business disputes in complex commercial litigation and handles federal and state claims and represents clients in cases involving breach of contract claims, quiet title actions and land use disputes, among others. She has been recognized by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® annually for her appellate law work since 2013 and in 2021 was honored as a Best Lawyers® Lawyer of the Year.

She leads McNees in its efforts to maintain high professional standards; serve its communities; develop, incentivize and retain a diverse bench of legal talent; and meet its team’s health and wellness goals as a member of the firm’s Ethics & Conflicts, Pro Bono, Professional Personnel and Wellness committees. Outside of the firm, Hull serves on the boards of the Annville Cleona Youth Soccer League, where she is also a coach, and Dauphin County Court Appointed Special Advocates, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Appellate Advocacy Committee.

In December, Hull was elected to the Board of Directors of ALFA International, the premier global legal network of independent law firms that provides clients with high-quality, cost-efficient legal services worldwide. Her involvement with ALFA spans more than a decade and since 2019, she has served as chair of its Business Litigation Practice Group, where her clients benefit from her deep knowledge of business litigation and access to connections wherever they might need the legal assistance around the world.
