McNees Attorneys and Colleague Recognized for Contributions to the Firm and Community

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (February 10, 2021) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC recognized attorneys Bob Weishaar and David Evenhuis, as well as colleague Karen Swaringen for their exceptional contributions to the firm and their communities.
Bob Weishaar, member of the Firm’s Management Committee and Chair of the Energy & Environmental Law Practice Group, was the 2021 recipient of the Gary F. Yenkowski Client Service Award for his dedication to the firm and generous giving of time to his colleagues and communities, as well as his devoted service to clients. The Gary F. Yenkowski Client Service Award is presented in honor of deceased McNees Partner, Gary F. Yenkowski. Recipients exhibit the finest of McNees attributes, as displayed by Garyi throughout his prematurely shortened career.
David Evenhuis was presented with the Rising Star Award for his tremendous accomplishments in his seven years with McNees, and with recognition of greater things to come for both him and the firm. David was elected to membership this year.
Karen Swaringen, the firm’s Events Administrator, was presented with the inaugural Mark Van Blargan Outstanding Colleague Award for her unrivaled dedication to McNees and her ambitious and positive mindset that she has displayed since joining the firm more than 29 years ago. The Outstanding Colleague Award was renamed this year in honor of Mark Van Blargan, who passed away last summer. Mark was an exceptional colleague, a great mentor and friend. His dedication and contributions to the firm helped make McNees what it is today.
