PITTSBURGH, Pa. — The McNees Strategic Solutions Group (MSSG) has added its first Pittsburgh-based team member, enabling the government affairs and grassroots advocacy firm to expand its services in western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and eastern Ohio.

Nate Regotti, a veteran government affairs and communications professional with more than a decade of experience in the region, has joined MSSG as a government affairs specialist. He will serve clients from McNees Wallace & Nurick’s downtown Pittsburgh office.

“Nate brings the right blend of community and legislative experience, along with deep connections across southwestern Pennsylvania,” said Michael G. Musser, II, co-chair of MSSG, an affiliate of McNees Wallace & Nurick. “His background in corporate affairs, government relations and communications will offer tremendous value to our clients.”

Regotti most recently was senior manager of government and external affairs for Comcast’s keystone region, where he developed strategic plans to advocate the company’s positions on public policies as well as those of its subsidiaries. He also helped form partnerships with nonprofit organizations to establish community improvement programs.

Before that, Regotti served as chief-of-staff to Pa. State Rep. Pam Snyder and Southwest Delegation Director for the Pa. House of Representatives. He began his career as a news and sports anchor and reporter with WJPA Radio in Washington County.

At MSSG, Regotti will partner with clients to develop community engagement and government relations strategies at the local, county and state levels to help meet their objectives.
