RADNOR, Pa. (April 8, 2026) – McNees Wallace & Nurick today announced that Craig Hoogstraten, a Radnor‑based construction and real estate attorney with more than three decades of industry and legal experience, has joined the firm’s Construction Law Group.
His background includes legal and operational roles in the large-scale civil construction sector.
Hoogstraten focuses on highway and transportation infrastructure projects, advising contractors and project stakeholders on complex construction agreements, risk allocation and regulatory compliance. His practice encompasses drafting and negotiating multimillion-dollar construction agreements, project delivery and risk management, claims avoidance and resolution, as well as transactional support for commercial, institutional, transportation and utility projects.
He also handles complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, phased development, environmental due diligence, permitting and large‑scale commercial property negotiations.
Throughout his career, Hoogstraten has provided strategic counsel on high-value infrastructure and real estate projects. His experience includes managing major joint ventures, resolving multimillion‑dollar close‑out disputes, overseeing commercial acquisitions, conducting environmental assessments, and advising clients on regulatory compliance, including OSHA, environmental requirements and federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Equal Employment Opportunity obligations.
“Craig brings the kind of experience that only comes from working close to the realities of construction projects for many years,” said Andrew Levy, chair of McNees’ Construction Law Group. “He understands the legal issues, but he also understands the operational pressures behind them. That perspective will be a real asset to our clients.”
McNees has continued to grow its footprint in the greater Philadelphia region, including the opening of its first office in the region in 2021, relocating to a larger Radnor office last year, and opening its Plymouth Meeting office with the addition of the former 24-person education law group of Fox Rothschild, the largest single-team addition in firm history.
