McNees’ Lancaster Office Welcomes Crystal H. Clark

LANCASTER, PA (Sept. 28, 2015) – McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC welcomes, Of Counsel, Crystal H. Clark to the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. Crystal will practice in the firm’s Lancaster office. For the past four years, Crystal served as the County Solicitor for the County of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Crystal was appointed by the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners, to serve as the County’s chief legal adviser and was generally responsible for all suits brought by or against the County. Her primary areas of responsibility have been to advise the Board of Commissioners, the Prison and other County Boards, and offices as well as oversee matters assigned to outside legal counsel.
Crystal has over ten years legal experience. Her litigation practice ran the gamut of employment and civil rights issues, including sexual harassment; age, gender, race, and disability discrimination; unemployment compensation; equal protection; First Amendment rights; prison and law enforcement matters; and numerous other matters.
“Crystal is one of the most capable people I’ve had the pleasure of working with in my life,” said Commissioner Craig Lehman. Crystal is credited with negotiating new financing for the Lancaster County Convention Center and finalizing and implementing a new employment policy and procedure manual.
She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Bar, the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Judicial Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Crystal earned her law degree from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
