McNees Attorney Inducted into American College of Bond Counsel

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (September 27, 2018) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Donna Kreiser was elected as a fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.

The American College of Bond Counsel, which was formed in 1995, recognizes lawyers who have established reputations among their peers for their skills, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of bond law. It believes that a bond lawyer’s expertise can best be judged by his or her peers and admits membership to only bond lawyers that have long experience and outstanding reputations in the field of municipal bond law.

“We are delighted Donna has been inducted as a fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel,” said McNees Chairman David Kleppinger. “Her skills and experience are highly valued at McNees and this honor exemplifies the quality of her work.”

Donna joins McNees attorney David Unkovic who is also a fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel.

Donna is Co-Chair of the McNees Financial Services and Public Finance Practice Groups and practices in the Public Sector Practice Group. She serves on the Management Committee of the Firm and is Member-in-Charge of the Lancaster office.

Donna focuses her practice on municipal and project finance law, including economic development, transportation, government, health care, and education. She serves as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, trustee’s counsel, bank counsel and borrower’s counsel for state, county, and municipal clients and for economic development authorities and non-profit entities in the implementation and financing of major capital initiatives that benefit public, private and non-profit entities and debt refinancing for public, for-profit and non-profit organizations. In addition, Donna counsels issuers on general obligation borrowings.

Donna is the founding secretary of Ladies First, a professional association of women engaged in the public finance industry.
