Experienced Business Litigator Joins McNees Frederick, Md. Office

FREDERICK, Md. – (September 27, 2021) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Paul D. Rose, Jr., an accomplished litigator and business advisor, to its office in Frederick, Maryland, where he joins the firm’s Construction, Real Estate and Litigation Practice Groups.

Rose’s practice focuses on commercial business litigation and solving problems for businesses, business owners and executives. He has twenty years of experience representing clients in disputes relating to construction, real estate and land use, commercial landlord-tenant, contracts, trusts and estates, shareholder disputes and general civil litigation matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in administrative hearings.

However, Rose’s practice is not limited to litigation. Rose has served as outside general counsel for many of his clients, regularly involving his colleagues in matters to assist with mergers and acquisitions, tax issues and any other legal needs that might arise.

Rose prides himself on providing outstanding client service and has received awards from his clients in that regard. Rose has always been focused on being available and responsive to his clients and producing excellent work product and results.

Before joining McNees, Rose was co-managing principal of the Frederick, Maryland office of a law firm primarily serving the mid-Atlantic region. Rose is most proud of the various land use appeals he handled for developer clients in the Circuit Court for Frederick County, the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, and the Maryland Court of Appeals, resulting in development projects that have greatly benefited Frederick County.

Rose is the Chairperson of Heartly House, the only organization in Frederick County that provides comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and child abuse. Rose is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The Community Foundation of Frederick County and Chairman of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the Cumberland Valley Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors. Rose has previously served as President of The Bar Association of Frederick County; President of Linganore Oakdale Urbana Youth Athletic Association; and member of the board of directors of The Arc of Frederick County. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law and bachelor’s degree in English from Frostburg State University in Maryland.
