The legal landscape related to LGBT rights in the workplace is a rapidly expanding and changing area of law.  This briefing will provide an overview of the laws, regulations and case law relevant to the employment of individuals who identify as LGBT, and practical guidance for employers and HR professionals with respect to the following topics: the impact of same-sex marriage on employee benefits, the status of domestic partners under state and federal law, coverage of LGBT individuals under employment discrimination laws and other emerging issues.  LGBT issues in the workplace will continue to become more commonplace and a heightened source of unexpected liability for the uninformed employer; stay out in front on this important topic!
