Bryce McKenney, Esq., will present the “AES Ohio (DP&L): Significant Developments Impacting Electric Rates” interactive workshop, where he will offer insights into developments affecting electric rates in AES Ohio’s service territory. Topics include an update on its 2020/2021 distribution rate case; the global settlement of its smart grid plan, significantly excessive earnings test and other issues; a review of recent rider updates; and rate-related updates on legislative discussions on energy issues.

McKenney will also be a panelist for the “AEP Ohio: Significant Development Impacting Electing Rates” interactive workshop, discussing developments affecting electric rates in AEP Ohio’s service territory, including its recently filed distribution base rate case and renewable energy filing, managing escalating transmission costs and rate-related updates on legislative discussions on energy issues.

The 26th Annual Ohio Energy Savings & Management Conference & Virtual Institute on February 22 and 23 in Columbus. Their session topics include potential effects of the federal government’s future energy plans, significant developments impacting electric rates, relevant Ohio legislation and natural gas price increases.

The event is the largest energy conference in America’s heartland, presenting Ohio companies’ leading-edge energy reduction and efficiency best practices and case studies. Attendees of this hybrid conference will gain insights on how to manage soaring natural gas prices and electricity transmission costs.
