Two McNees Attorneys Recognized for Community Service, Professional Dedication

HARRISBURG, Pa. — (June 10, 2022) Two McNees Wallace & Nurick attorneys were recognized by professional organizations for their community service and professional dedication.
Eric Athey, co-chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Law Group, was honored with the Lancaster Bar Association’s Service Award for spearheading the organization’s Recovery Lancaster Partnership during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Attorneys who participated in the program assisted small area businesses on a pro bono basis with legal issues and challenges relating to COVID-19, including PPP loans, health protocols, employment law matters and landlord/tenant conflicts, to name a few.
At McNees, Athey counsels and represents employers on a wide range of labor and employment matters, routinely helping unionized and non-union clients navigate difficult situations involving allegations of discrimination and harassment, labor negotiations and arbitrations, employment contracts and employment policy development.
Agran’s practice focuses on complex estate and business succession planning, estate and trust administration, retirement planning, charitable planning and gift and estate taxation. She advises clients in matters involving retirement planning, gifting, estate planning and charitable planning; drafts estate planning documents; and administers estates.
