Attorney Claudia Shank Joins McNees Wallace & Nurick

LANCASTER, Pa. – McNees Wallace & Nurick announces that attorney Claudia Shank has joined the firm’s Real Estate practice group.

Prior to joining McNees, Shank served as an Assistant Solicitor for Lancaster County where she provided advice to the Board of Commissioners and County department heads, and elected officials on a broad range of legal issues, including employment matters and compliance with the County Code and the Sunshine Act.

During her time at the County, Shank represented the Lancaster County Children and Youth Agency in dependency matters and termination of parental rights hearings in the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas, and in child abuse expunction and kinship appears before the Department of Human Services’ Bureau of Hearings and Appeals.

Shank also served as the Solicitor for the Lancaster County Office of Aging, and represented the Agency in guardianship proceedings.

Before working in the County Solicitor’s Office, Shank served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jeffery D. Wright of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas, and assisted in the development of Lancaster County’s Veterans Treatment Court.

Shank earned her law degree from Drexel University School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
