HARRISBURG, Pa. (October 02, 2025) — McNees Wallace & Nurick attorney Brigid Landy Khuri has been named a 2025 Forty Under 40 honoree by the Central Penn Business Journal.
Brigid practices with the Energy and Environmental Law Group, where she advises clients on environmental regulation, land use appeals, and litigation. She has significant experience in Pennsylvania’s appellate courts, having argued before both the state Commonwealth Supreme Courts, including in high-profile matters such as the challenge to Pennsylvania’s participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI).
Forty Under 40 recognizes professionals under 40 who are achieving success in Central Pennsylvania. Honorees were selected by a panel of previous winners and the Central Penn Business Journal leadership team based on professional accomplishments, community service, and commitment to inspiring change.
“Brigid exemplifies McNees’s core values of building authentic relationships, cultivating excellence, championing growth, and achieving balance,” said Susan Bruce, co-chair of the firm’s Energy and Environmental Law Group. “She is an exceptional attorney, a trusted colleague and mentor, and is actively involved in our community in numerous ways.”
“Being named to the Forty Under 40 list is a tremendous honor, and I’m grateful to be recognized alongside a group of professionals who are dedicated to making Central Pennsylvania a better place,” Brigid said. “This award is a reflection of McNees Wallace & Nurick’s commitment to both professional excellence and community engagement. It’s a privilege to work on high-impact legal matters while also contributing to our community through public service.”
Brigid is active in professional and civic leadership. She serves as Vice Chair of the Camp Hill Borough Planning Commission, is a board member of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts, and has served on the board of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber’s Capital Region Economic Development Corporation. She was recently appointed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to a three-year term on the Board of Law Examiners. She regularly speaks at Pennsylvania Bar Institute seminars and has contributed to leading environmental law publications.
Brigid strongly promotes community within the firm and is a member of McNees’ engagement council. She also serves in McNees’ mentorship program, where she co-leads a small group of attorneys to provide an open forum to ask questions, share experiences, and ultimately support each other’s professional development.
The honorees will be recognized at a celebration at the Hilton Harrisburg on Oct. 27 and profiled in a magazine inserted into the Oct. 28 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal. To learn more about the Forty Under 40 awards, visit the Central Penn Business Journal
