LANCASTER, Pa. (May 13, 2025) — McNees Wallace & Nurick today announced the addition of Thomas Davies to the firm’s Lancaster office, bringing with him nearly 40 years of experience in construction, labor and employment law.
Davies counsels clients on project delivery, contract negotiation, workforce compliance and labor relations. His work spans both construction and labor law, including regulatory compliance and public contracting requirements such as prevailing wage.
“Tom’s deep understanding and experience with the unique labor law issues facing construction industry employers will be a tremendous asset to our clients and the firm. He understands the day-to-day realities our clients face and will provide practical solutions and strong advocacy in litigation matters,” said Jennifer Will, co-chair of the McNees Labor & Employment Group.
“Tom’s ability to bridge construction and labor law makes him a strong addition to our team,” said Andrew Levy, chair of the McNees Construction & Procurement Group. “With almost four decades of experience practicing law in Lancaster, he also offers clients a veteran perspective of someone who understands both the legal issues and the southcentral Pennsylvania region.”
Davies previously practiced at Harmon & Davies, P.C., a Lancaster-based firm he co-founded. Following the firm’s recent changes, he chose to continue his practice at McNees, where he will support clients across the region.
“I’ve spent my career working with construction businesses across Central Pennsylvania, and I’m thrilled to bring that experience to McNees,” Davies said. “The firm’s deep bench and commitment to client service make this the ideal place to continue supporting the industry I care so deeply about.”
Davies holds a law degree from Duquesne University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College. He worked as a field examiner and field attorney for the National Labor Relations Board prior to entering private practice.
Continued growth in the Construction & Procurement Group
Davies’s addition continues a series of strategic hires in McNees’ Construction & Procurement Group. Recently, construction attorneys David L. Cole Jr. and Veronica Morrison joined McNees further expanding the team’s capabilities. The team includes more than 20 attorneys across the firm’s 10 offices, providing clients with comprehensive legal services, including dispute resolution, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance and procurement counsel.
