McNees Attorneys Present PSATS Webinar on Zoning, Subdivision & Land Development

HARRISBURG, Pa. – (July 29, 2020) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorneys Jamie Strong and Peter Wertz presented the webinar “Get The Dirt: Zoning, Subdivision & Land Development Basics” for the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors on Thursday, July 23, 2020.

During the workshop, Jamie and Peter provided a foundation for anyone new to land use matters and reinforced the basic principles for those with more experience.  They discussed the statutory authority for regulating land use in Pennsylvania, how land use is typically regulated, and the enactment and administration of land use ordinances.

Jamie practices in the McNees Real Estate Practice Group where he primarily represents wireless telecommunications providers and tower companies in land use and leasing matters.  He advises his clients in zoning and land use proceedings before municipal planning commissions, governing bodies and zoning hearing boards throughout Pennsylvania.  He also represents clients in the acquisition, sale, development and leasing of real estate.

Peter is an Associate in the Lancaster Office and practices in the McNees Real Estate Group.  Peter focuses primarily on assisting clients in zoning and land use matters, including applications for zoning relief to municipal bodies throughout the region.  He also assists clients with the purchase and sale of real estate, easement-related issues, and the preparation of legal documentation required for land development.
